Recipe Ingredients
Thinly sliced Bread
Butter (at room temperature for spreading)
Filling
A can of salmon
Butter
Mayonnaise (you will need approximately 6 teaspoonfuls of
mayonnaise to a can of salmon)
Salt and pepper to season
Preparation and cooking instructions
Put the salmon into a bowl and mash with a fork; add the
salt and pepper and about a teaspoon of butter, then mash
everything together using enough mayonnaise to make the mixture
spreadable. Next butter a slice of bread and spread with the
Salmonaize. Now top with another slice of buttered bread and
then cut the sandwich into four neat triangles.
Alternatively, why not try using a can of tuna instead of
salmon. Just follow the instructions for Salmonaize as above
but use tuna instead of salmon and for that extra special
treat just stir in some cooked sweetcorn or snipped chives.
