An ideal stuffing for chicken and turkey
Recipe Ingredients
3oz breadcrumbs
2oz margarine
2 teaspoons dried sage or 4 teaspoons finely chopped fresh
sage
4 onions
Salt and Pepper to season
A beaten egg to bind the mixture
Preparation and cooking instructions
Begin by chopping the onions into quarters and dropping
them into a saucepan of boiling water. Continue to boil for
approximately 15 minutes. Then drain off the water and chop
the onions finely.
Now in a bowl to the chopped onions add the salt and pepper,
the sage, the margarine and the breadcrumbs, stir together.
In a second small bowl beat the egg and add this to the stuffing
using enough to bind together.
